These 30 minutes take the guessing out. You get: a hair and scalp analysis, a review of your color history, a custom plan, and your exact price before anything touches your hair. Planning a big color change? We may do a test strand to be sure. Your $20 goes toward your service when you book from your consult, so it costs you nothing extra. Before you come: clean, dry hair styled how you usually wear it, plus 2–3 photos you love. Next step: book the service your plan recommends.

The Bastrop hard-water hair reset + CUT RITUAL

New here? Hair dull, heavy or won't hold color? Clear Bastrop's hard-water buildup and get a fresh cut. If your shampoo won't lather, your blonde keeps turning brassy, or your cut never sits right, it may not be your hair. It may be the minerals in Bastrop water. You get: a Crown Code consultation and scalp analysis, a mineral detox, scalp exfoliation, a deep-conditioning mask, steam, a scalp massage, a hot towel, a precision cut and a styled finish. You also leave with a home-care plan and take-home bonuses. Aromatherapy and sound therapy are yours if you want them. Why it works: most salons cut and color right over the buildup. We clear it first, so your cut, color and products finally do their job. Before you come: come as you are. Curly? Wear your usual set. Our 7-day promise: if your cut isn't sitting right, tell us within 7 days and we'll adjust it at no charge.

Self Care Heaven : HEAD SPA DAY

Running on empty? Two full hours of scalp therapy and a blowout where nothing is asked of you. Most "spa" add-ons are 5 minutes tacked onto a haircut. This is the whole appointment. You get: a scalp analysis, a scalp therapy flow tailored to what your scalp needs that day, an extended massage with 10 bonus minutes built in, and a full blowout or hot-tool style. Why it works: real rest plus real scalp care. You leave lighter, and your hair looks it too. Before you come: come as you are, and leave the evening open.

Before your visit

Do I need a consultation?

If you're not sure what you need — and especially if you're a new color guest — yes, always book a Crown Code Consult. It gives us time to understand your hair, build a custom plan and give you an exact quote. If you book your service from the consultation, your consult deposit is applied to your total.

Can I call to book?

We run on online booking and a digital front desk, so you always see our stylists' most up-to-date availability — book anytime through the Book Now button or the Fresha app. Questions? Text the salon at (512) 360-8496, message us through Fresha, or email contact@awakenbastrop.com. Office hours are Tuesday–Saturday, 8–10 AM and 7–8 PM; expect a reply within 24 hours.

What is your cancellation and deposit policy?

A 50% non-refundable retainer reserves your appointment and is applied to your service. We ask for 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule — with notice, your deposit moves to your new appointment. Cancelling with less than 48 hours' notice forfeits the deposit; within 24 hours, an additional 50% late-cancellation fee applies. No-call no-shows are charged in full.

What if I'm running late?

Life happens — we build a 10-minute buffer into every appointment. If you're more than 10 minutes late, we may need to adjust to a shorter service so we can stay on time for our next guest, and a late fee will be added to your service total. A quick text helps us plan.

Where do I park?

We have a small parking lot at 1003 Jefferson St. Street parking is also allowed by the City of Bastrop just avoid fire hydrants and driveways.

What products do you use?

We're a low-tox, clean-air salon with a curated back bar: evo for color, styling and haircare; OPC for scalp spa rituals, styling and haircare; Cult + King for styling and haircare; and Innersense for curly styling. Your stylist will recommend the right home care for your hair.
